Recently, I finished Death Stranding 2! I'm happy to say that I really enjoyed it, I feel like the differences in the atmosphere are enough that I can still enjoy 1 for what it is, and this one separately. The story in 2 was fantastic, almost cried in some spots.

Only real complaint I had was that I feel like I relied on a truck too much, which was entirely my fault. But I still had fun, it's still quite cozy and the music selection is fantastic. Continues the theme of "community is key" that the 1st one had.
