Speculation of the day: (TF2) I wonder if that by tying event maps together with contracts, it inadvertently damages the map's reputation by associating it with frustrating game play circumstances. There's so much hate being tossed at map makers lately from somewhere.

I know people who make maps, and we regularly test them on SCG. No one should be getting hate for something they make, it's no different than art and I consider mods works of art all the same.
