Once again, all I'll say is that FA shouldn't be regarded as a wholesome small independent website, they are far too big and important to the community to continue having these technical mishaps on a seemingly regular basis.

Telling users to delete their notifications is just wild, just make a script to do it. I just hope FA never gets looked at by any kind of government agency because if this is what they're still struggling with, I have to wonder what CASM tools or anything they have in place.
